This product consists of Omega 3+ CANAH flaxseed and hemp oil capsules containing cold-pressed organic oil, an excellent source of Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids, enriched with vitamins E, D3 and K1. Omega-3 and Omega-6 are essential polyunsaturated fatty acids needed by the body and can only be obtained through food. Omega-3 mainly has anti-inflammatory effects, supporting heart and brain health. Omega-6 has both pro- and anti-inflammatory effects and is important for cell function, skin and hair health, brain health, and metabolism.

A balanced Omega-3 to Omega-6 ratio (ideally 1:2 to 1:4) is crucial to benefit from their properties, as a diet high in omega-6 and low in omega-3 can be pro-inflammatory. Hemp seed oil has an ideal Omega-3 to Omega-6 ratio of approximately 1:3, which helps reduce inflammation, improve cardiovascular health, and support overall body functions. Omega-9 fatty acids are monounsaturated and non-essential, as the body can produce them, but they can also be obtained from food.
